Dayoon gained her admission to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in December 2009.

Dayoon graduated with a combined law degree in Commerce/Law and a major in accounting from the University of New South Wales. She completed a clerkship as a Tax Analyst at a Big 4 Accounting firm in Sydney and worked at a boutique law firm in Sydney CBD where she practised in general commercial and corporate law.

Dayoon is fluent in Korean and is familiar with all aspects of business development needs in the Korean market and the opportunities for skilled workers to immigrate to Australia. With her bilingual background, she had the opportunity to work in major research and development industries as well as global industry networks. By bringing her experience and knowledge of international trade developments, particularly to Australia’s economic industries such as telecommunications, mining, defence, energy, rail, and manufacturing, she provides an in-depth understanding of individual case matters and attends to each visa inquiry with a practical approach.

I came to Australia on my own in 2018 to study, so I have first-hand experience with international student life and preparing for immigration. During my studies I also took part in the university's legal aid programs and handled a wide range of legal matters faced by international students and temporary visa holders in Australia. I hold a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New England and a Master of Migration Law from the Australian National University. Before becoming a registered migration agent in Australia, I worked as an electrical engineer, having graduated with a Master of Engineering from the University of Sydney.

I specialise in employer-sponsored visas, family-sponsored visas, skilled migration, business migration visas, and representation at AAT appeals. I'm skilled at finding creative solutions for clients, drawing on my engineering logic, the legal interpretation training I received in law school, and my professional drafting experience. Before completing my Juris Doctor at the University of New South Wales, I obtained a Bachelor of Laws in China. I was admitted as a solicitor in Australia in February 2019, and later became a registered migration agent.

A focus on detail and a commitment to continual improvement keep me at the forefront of migration law. I work to exceed clients' expectations by providing sound, effective advice aimed at achieving the best possible outcome.

As a documentation-focused migration agent, I aim to keep expanding my knowledge of migration law and my ability to resolve complex matters, so I can help more clients realise their goals sooner, grow together with NS Legal, and ultimately become a specialist in migration law.
